  1.  @jasondubois9711  What if what you call a life of honor and dignity is actually an immoral lifestyle in the eyes of the real god(s)? Then you will burn in hell. There are thousands of gods, thousands ways to worship every single one of them, how do you know your beliefs and actions are the right ones? And if your bet was not the correct one then you wasted a lifetime of experiences and still risk eternal wrath from a god you displeased. From the large number of faiths and rituals, it becomes clear that you have a very, very low chance of actually believing in the right god(s) and honoring them in the appropriate way.
