@rmrrao2675 That too in crisis. PVNR himself was a socialist as Shekhar said. Rajiv infact was much more Capitalist than PVNR or even MMS, he had brought Chidambaram from US back then, Indira was Authoritative Left, Nehru was Libertarian Left.

@ShivamAroraa Like it Depends. Not exactly... leaving aside Congress, it's true for others ,mostly Socialists, Leftists. Congress has had a Big Coalition of Castes and Religion and then Some Economic Liberalism starting from Rajiv Era. Although he died, but even then he would have done same thing that PVNR did(Manmohan did what was instructed). Even Chidambaram did it. Only Pranab Mukherjee was quite left leaning.

@rmrrao2675 Rajiv did try to correct himself, ofcourse he didn't do as much it should have been then. Anyways, they arent here now.
