  1. It can be explained with a Simple line ... Actually I'm a Quizzer and once I was asked what is the tenure of the Prime Minister? I said 5 years... And it was wrong... The golden Line is: "A Prime Minister is in power until he enjoys the support of majority of members in the Lower House of Parliament of India,that is,Lok Sabha." Now the Lok Sabha's term is 5 years. Hence,a PM who serves for full term is the one who serves for 5 years. Also,Dr.Manmohan Singh was from RS from Assam but that he had Majority in LS.
