  1. Wrong Assessment. BJP-RSS were way weak at that time. Congress Got Pressurised by Groups back then of Muslims. So tried to pacify them So Hindus got angry So tried to Pacify Them Then Caste people got anger. Congress had this unique ability of taking along all communities despite their differences but when people wanna fight, what can one do?
