  1. Ok, So If Farm Reforms are so great,Why Agriculture is heavily subsidised even in the US and Europe where very few percentage of population is linked to agriculture? EU gives 500 Billion $ of Subsidies every year to farmers of Europe to help them survive. But we just want to copy the western style Capitalism and paste it. But India has 60% Population linked to agriculture which certainly needs to be reduced but it cannot done with force. It takes time,once it was above 80%. Reforms are needed but why to push them so heavily.. 1991 was completely different than this. And btw, I'm a Great Admirer of Thatcherism and Reaganism. Infact Rajiv tried to do that slowly but PVNR did it Completely. Indira had a completely different mindset as she had to fight Americans all through her tenure and had to keep very good relations with Soviets. Besides,Not only Punjab farmers are there. Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand,UP farmers too are coming.
