@jimfocus3128 Its more of ethnic mobilization everywhere but there is also Religious Polarisation in some parts,Especially In Karnataka, Hyderabad specifically and In some parts of Kerala.

Modi is a Gujarati..No way is he a Punjabi... And Yes,South India Politics is discussed but at national level less than the North/West politics...even eastern politics is less discussed.

@jimfocus3128 We have had 2 Prime Ministers from South.But North,West has distinct culture and Delhi which is the capital is in North.The South Indian Politicans are powerful but they have different politics in South and less number of seats compared to North due to population and hence they are less powerful. Besides,Each Southern State has different Regional Party alongside INC & BJP. So No party can get huge number of seats.

@jimfocus3128 True..Like Once Congress was...When it dominated the South...It won 2004,2009 because of winning Andhra Pradesh with huge number of seats.
