INC even today has most ground leaders in Maharashtra: Ashok Chavan, Prithviraj Chavan, Satej Bunty Patil: see crowds he gather and the way he is leading, Balasaheb Thorat, Nitin Raut, Nana Patole, Varsha Gaekwad, Yashomati Thakur, Praniti Shinde, Dhiraj Deshmukh,Amit Deshmukh,Zeeshan Siddiqui,Amin Patel,Aslam Sheikh, Sanjay Nirupam,Chandresh Handore,Bhai Jagtap, Milind Deora. In last 9 years only one major defection has been ex LOP Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil.

Also RSS people were saying biggest crowds in Yatra wasn't in Karnataka,Kerala as expected but in Maharashtra, even MP was really good and Rajasthan too but that was due to Organisation of INC in Rajasthan with Govt
