When Congress tried Ideology Free Politics from 2014-2021 and RG talked about it he was bashed Left Right and Centre.
Now It's only INC that's getting bigger and closer to BJP
Lokniti CSDS is one of most reputed agencies.. if in May they are saying BJP is at 39% and INC at 29% National Vote Share : both alone and not counting any UPA-NDA alliance.
Combined 68% Vote share for INC+ BJP has never happened since 1991 bcoz that's when Lok Sabha elections became INC vs BJP ( though Janata Dal alone till '96 & Left till '04 was a force but splits made Janata Dal all regional parties & Commies dwindled)
If We Include NDA Allies (+ Potential Direct Allies of TDP-Jana Sena in AP( YSRCP direct Alliance not possible for BJP+ see YS Sharmila tweets & her joining INC and how Ponguleti who joined INC met Jagan recently.),SAD in Punjab, JDS in Karnataka (1st time State Budget was presented without LOP as there are talks of Yeddy son splitting Legislative Party if not given LOP😂) and LJP(Chirag) in Bihar & ofc Existing AIADMK,PMK in TN, Shinde Sena or Ajit NCP in MH(let's see who stays & what happens), Rajbhar Anupriya in UP, Manjhi-Kushwaha-Chirag in Bihar,AJSU in Jharkhand, NPP(Sangmas) in Meghalaya, NE, Neiphiu & NDPP-NPF in Nagaland, AGP-UPPL in Assam, JJP in Haryana. That takes it to 45-47%
Then UPA has DMK,MDMK etc in TN, Uddhav Sena & Sharad NCP in MH, RJD-JDU in Bihar ,JMM in Jharkhand, NC-PDP in J&K, And Raijor Dal- BPF in Assam, UDF allies in Kerala. Even RLD can join INC alliance in UP as per rumours
Which takes it to 40-41%
Which almost alienates CPM, BRS, TMC, BJD, YSRCP, AAP, SP,BSP who dont want to ve directly allied in one alliance or other .
Just 10% Vote Gap between INC & BJP from 18%+ in '14 & '19 can cause major changes in electoral Politics
