One thing that I have observed is that every time Ukraine gets strong and overwhelming support from democratic nations around the world (this time: Ukraine peace summit in Switzerland) and you will see Putin's reflex is to play the same card (hey look at me I also got some friends... in North Korea). I'm not sure what it is but to me it looks like his is envious on how much love and support Zelenskyy get. What Putin doesn't get is that by bombing civilians you don't make friends but enemies, hence Ruble is wanted by no one (outside of Russia) which makes it worthless. Oh on a side note, I think you are very lucky to have a forest in Florida. I don't own land but if I one day are able to purchase my own land, what I would prefer is a land that is relatively flat, is a forest, warm place, access to water, quiet place, secluded place to live. So yeah consider yourself lucky.

I wouldn't say Bitcoin is fake but what worries me is that sooner or later there is a non-zero chance that quantum computers will be able to break it, while 160 bit encryption might sound a lot (which it is) for classical computing but for quantum computing is like a hot knife in passing through butter. Every year there are breakthroughs in quantum computing (researchers discovers new stuff all the time now). I would not recommend keeping Bitcoin beyond 2030.

@magikavoncary No I was replying to @billytheweasel as I do not see Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme, it is just a transaction system (its value is not in the physical realm but in the information realm)
