@Mark-Haddow Thanks for your reply. Jens Stoltenberg said, "France has shown its hand" Why did he say that ? Because France had acted independently and stabbed NATO in the back. You must be able to see that ? It is quite extraordinary for Macron to go on TV and make a declaration like that. French MP Jean Louis Thieriot said, "I nearly fell off my chair" Are you deliberately down playing the event to protect Macron, or do you genuinely not understand ?

Britain and the US take a hard line which astonishes France. Without any warning or discussion, France breaks ranks and independently waves the white flag to Russia. 19 Oct : Ben Wallace flies to Washington and a joint nuclear response is agreed. Macron was petrified and, to save France, stabbed NATO in the back. I'm amazed you are unable to see this ? The EDF is Macron's vanity project, it is now dead. Who would join a defence force led by a cowardly back-stabber ?
