  1. This was never actually a referendum on how much Aussies want to assist our aboriginal community. The minute the government told us all to just trust them and they'd sort out the wording and all the details AFTER the vote, it became a referendum on how much Aussies trust the government. They would have lost the vote at any time in Australian history, but in the post-covid environment it was always going to be very ugly.

The Ukraines started shelling them while they were trying to vote. Ukraine already told them to get out of Ukraine if they speak Russian as their native language, and so they are doing that and taking their ancestral lands with them. And they did so with a internationally recognised referendum with international observers and more than 90% voter turnout.
