@terrya8989 Every time I hear them quote a number they've added another 5,000 years. I was growing up in the 1960s and it was considered 10,000 years then. I note that every living human had indigenous ancestors 65,000 years ago, and the rest of it.

There are NO "first nations" in Australia. That is the Canadian name for north American indigenous people who actually had NATIONS. Aborigines never had nations so it is embarrassingly incorrect to call them as such. Maybe "Original Mobs" or some such thing that's close to the truth and properly Aussie.
