@dehavillandcanadatwinotter9621 A mechanic in Ab was telling me recently that he isn’t making money cuz all he gets is out of prov inspections now from BC and Ontario, and I believe it, cuz we keep getting new ppl from BC at work all of a sudden and they say its cuz they want to afford to live, if you can believe it.

@ryanbudney3356 My workplace is flooded w new ppl from BC. They say they moved so they can afford land/a home. A mechanics recently told me that all he does now are out of province inspections from BC and Ontario. Personally I don’t want them all coming here and dragging their province’s problems into mine.

Instead we’re just getting a whole lot of that BC here in Alberta. Kind if frustrating having a bunch of ppl from a province that hates us coming here and worsening the housing crisis.

I’m from AB. I lived in Quebec for a student work term. My roommate apologized in advance for her boyfriend. Said he’d hate me cuz I was from AB. He and his friends wouldn’t even talk to me. It was an eye opener. I thought it was just a friendly rivalry. At the time AB was full of Quebecois drywallers, framers, and roofers and such. Nobody cared.

@johnhein4851 Its an ugly city… Grew up there. It is a safe and decent place to live, but I wouldn’t call it nice.
