Allah has the final word about his creation. سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ Quraan 41:53. WE (Allah) SHALL SHOW THEM (disbelievers) OUR SIGNS IN THE HORIZONS, AND IN THEIR OWN BEINGS, UNTIL IT BECOMES MANIFEST TO THEM THAT THIS (Quraan) IS THE TRUTH. IS IT NOT SUFFICIENT IN REGARD TO YOUR LORD (Allah) THAT HE IS A WITNESS OVER ALL THINGS?

The Quraan is a divine revelation written down for the convenience of those who want to read it and experience its blessings: بَلْ هُوَ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ فِي صُدُورِ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلا الظَّالِمُونَ Quraan 29:49. Nay, but it (the Quraan) is clear verses preserved in the breasts (Memories) of those who have been given knowledge. And none but the wrongdoers deny Our verses. There is no book but the Quraan because there is no god but Allah: "The Quraan is the Book of Allah; it has information about those who were there before you, has news of those who shall come after you, and is the rule as to matters current among you; it is decisive and nothing comical; whoever tyrant deserts it, Allah cracks him; whoever seeks guidance in other than it, Allah sends him astray; it is the solid rope of Allah; it is that referred to as "Ath-thikr Alhakeem" (Quraan); it is the straight path; it is that with which fancies do not deviate, and tongues do not get jumbled; scholars do not get their full out of it; it does not get worn as a result of the multiplicity of objections; its wonders never reach depletion; it is that which the Jinn no sooner having heard it than they said: "We have heard a wonderful recital (Quraan) which guides to the right path; he who expresses himself through it tells the truth; he who acts in compliance with it shall be rewarded; he who judges by it is just; and he who invites to it is guided to a straight path"

If you are able to change the status of a human being from disbelief to belief, then this would be better than possessing a whole herd of the finest cattle: فَوَاللَّهِ لأَنْ يَهْدِىَ اللَّهُ بِكَ الرَّجُلَ الْوَاحِدَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ

  6. Brief Thoughts, ISLAM IS THE RELIGION OF TRUTH There is no god but Allah. There is no book but the Quraan. There is no religion but Islam. Islam is not the Muslims. ISLAM is a word of the Arabic language which means "submission". Theologically it means the act of submitting in peace to the will of Allah as the Creator. This submission entails bearing witness that THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH. Submission requires that a person submitting to Allah should entrust his command to the care of Allah. Obedience to Allah is the main feature of submission. A Muslim is such a person who submits to Allah and obeys him in all that He commands, and refrains from that which Allah forbids. - Truly, the religion according to Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account. - And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. - ... This day, I (Allah) have perfected your religion (Islam) for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. - And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah, while he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not the people who are disbelieving folk.

  7. xamphibiax, What purpose does quoting Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde serve? What are the consequences? Quoting the Quraan serves the purpose of conveying the divine message that there is no god but Allah. Those who believe will be rewarded, but those who disbelieve will be punished.

Reply: Those who disbelieve and belie Our (Allah's) verses, such are the dwellers of the Fire. They shall abide therein forever. Those who disbelieve Our verses, We (Allah) shall burn them in the Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall substitute their skins that they may taste the torment. Truly, Allah is Ever Most Powerful, All-Wise. Those who disbelieve and deny our verses are those who will be the dwellers of the Hell-fire. Those who reject Our verses, the torment will touch them for their disbelief.
