Besides the fact that the original Bible and modern Bibles are in different languages, one of the major problems is that the original manuscripts don't exist anymore. So we can't compare modern Bible versions directly to the originals. Furthermore, the manuscripts which we do have are not exactly what was originally written. To explain, the oldest manuscripts of the Old Testament go back to 250 BCE. Yet, the Old Testament was being written over a period of time long before that, from 1400-400 BCE. That's a long time, especially for the earliest books – nearly 1200 years between original and copy! Why don’t we have the original copies which were penned by the Bible writers? A number of factors caused the disappearance or destruction of ancient manuscripts. They were normally written on papyri (ancient paper-like material) or animal skins. Over time, these materials would decay and no longer be readable. Simply being used for many years could also ruin the manuscripts. In many areas of the world, humidity destroyed them. The only reason we have some manuscripts from as far back as 250 BCE is that they were found in desert areas with very low humidity. In times of war manuscripts were sometimes destroyed as part of the pillaging. The Bible is not unique in this aspect – the earliest copies of other ancient writings are missing for similar reasons.

HLABSINC You are right. The verse of the Quraan and the Hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad which I quoted do not have anything to do with baptism. The verse of the Quraan is a command to Prophet Muhammad to worship Allah alone, and that Allah created people innately believers in him The Hadeeth is strongly connected to this baptism scene. The Hadeeth is about parents who corrupt the innate belief in the hearts of their offspring. You must have noticed that it parents who bring their children to be baptized. Parents are thus forcing their beliefs on their helpless children. The baptizer in this video performs an abusive ritual on the babies, still the parents are obstinately insistent on abusing and corrupting their loved ones. If you believe that there is only one God, then this God is Allah because there is no God but Allah. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not. THEY ARE LIKE CATTLE, NAY EVEN MORE ASTRAY. Those are the heedless ones. Verily, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; but the Fire will be their abode. And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them (such names), and leave the company of those who BELIE or DENY (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do.

Say (O Muhammad): Shall we tell you of the greatest losers with regard to deeds? They are those whose efforts have been wasted in life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds. They are those who deny the verses of their Lord (Allah) and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So their deeds are in vain. On the Day of Resurrection, We (Allah) shall assign no weight for them. That (Jahannam) shall be their recompense because they disbelieved and took My verses and My Messengers by way of jest and mockery.

"Jesus" is fictitious There is no "Jesus" As long as Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam was alive (for 33 years) he was Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam, a Prophet and Messenger of Allah. This name was given to him by Allah. إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ Quraan 3:45. (Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him, his NAME will be AL-MASEEH EESSA IBNU MARYAM, held in honor in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are brought to a vicinity of Allah." Nobody dared to call him a different name (such as Jesus). Nobody dared to give him a different title (such as God or the son of God). The fictitious character called Jesus came into existence only after Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam, a Prophet and Messenger of Allah, was raised to the third heaven by Allah. The divine message which Allah revealed to Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam under the name Al-Injeel was corrupted to accommodate new concepts (such as the Father and the Son). The result is a fake character named Jesus and a few Gospels under the name New Testament.
