@billybobbocephus2177 "referendums for crimea(in lowercase letter) were not on the up and up?" LOL! Crimea was a part of Russia since 18th century, since Catherine the Great. The Crimean parliament asked Russia for assistance after the US-backed Neo-Nazi coup in Kiev in 2014. There were polls on whether Crimeans wanted to be a part of Ukraine of part of Russia and most of them want to be a part of Russia. And it benefited Crimea because the standards of living in Russia is higher than in Ukraine.

@PlayingWithFireOutdoors Eastern and Southern Ukraine have been Russian for centuries. Vladimir Lenin gave Eastern and Southern parts to Ukraine for political reasons and Nikita Khrushchev who was the Soviet PM and Ukrainian himself gave Crimea to Ukraine. This is why the Eastern and Southern Part of Ukraine has a majority ethnic Russian population and it will go back to Russia after this thing is over. The Western Part of Ukraine Galicia(or Banderastan) used to belong to Poland until Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact in 1939 and Transcarpathia used to belong to Hungary.

@UkrainianPunk180 Referendum that was supported by Crimeans. What was the result of Kosovo referendum after the break up of Yugoslavia? Oh, there wasn't one and Kosovo was "recognized" by the US and its EU puppets and not even all of them.

And 98% of people of Crimea voted in favor of rejoining with Russia. 90% of Crimeans voted for Putin as president in 2018. There were polls after the rejoining with Russia that they want to be a part of Russia. There was a journalist from CNBC who went to interview people in Crimea if they wanted to be a part of Russia or Ukraine and the majority of them want to be a part of Russia. They said they would fight against the Ukrainian forces if they have to. And that's why the Kiev Nazi regime put that journalist on Mirotvoretz's hit list. Crimeans could GAF about if somebody from the US or their puppet states who recognised them or not.

Oh, really? If the US/NATO thought so, they would have been in Ukraine wearing Ukrainian unforms 15 minutes after the conflict started. Biden is giving Ukraine cluster bombs because he is a criminal and the UK gave them depleted uranium munitions because they have no weapons left to give them. If the US/NATO were to have a war the Collective West would have been out of ammunition in 4 weeks.
