  1. When I moved to Tokyo the only Japanese words that I know were Arigatou & Sayonara😁. The company that I worked for provided Japanese lesson once a week but for me that was not enough. I decided to took a private Japanese language lesson 3X a week, joined the local community activities ( hiking, photography & kintsugi ) and begged my roommates to speak to me inly in Japanese. That really sped up my Nihongo proficiency.
