The major difference is if people want to integrate. We have quickly reached a place where multiculturalism simply means completely separate communities living in the same country and competing for jobs, resources, housing etc. for which there are plainly not enough of. This huge increase in illegal immigration is simply not sustainable.

@turquoiseowl Yes you are right on both points, I always thought integration meant that the local customs were respected and that immigrants were not in direct competition to our culture eg there are people from the Islamic faith that not only want blasphemy laws but they expect us to abide by them. As for immigration I totally agree that mass immigration is a whole other thing. It started with Blair and simply hasn't slowed down, the huge numbers are not sustainable. It is OK to adopt things from other cultures but there are obviously other things nobody wants forced upon them.

@turquoiseowl I am not completely anti immigration but with sensible levels that give time ie generations for genuine integration. What they call multiculturalism is a myth, it simply means wildly different cultures living in the same country, it is a failure. Even Merkel said so before her insanity in 2015 and that so didn't work out well. The numbers now are just not sustainable and it will come to a head sooner than later.
