Conclusion: ANY BMW you buy is a great drivers car and very fast. It's such a short track that the time differences are not that much. Try a longer track and the time differences start to expand. 1M is not that old compared to M2. And M4 is a clearly bigger car but they really tried to keep it light weight, so much so that it's not much heavier than M2. And you never get the chance to extract all that power on such a short track.
