@dvdv8197 I would have loved to see Bernie win. That said, remember that he'd still have Republican obstruction every step of the way. While Biden hasn't done as much as I'd like, he's done VASTLY MORE than I ever expected, especially with Republicans trying to block everything. There's limits on what can get passed because of obstruction. Bernie might have had loftier goals, but that doesn't mean he could meet them any better than Biden could. Yes, he'd likely fight louder and harder, but that doesn't mean bills will pass. In fact, Bernie's bills would likely result in MORE obstruction, as they'd be asking for a lot more.

@tonyg76 Is he old? Sure. But he's in great shape and is still smart enough to run circles around Republican fascists. So that's a massive plus. And no, they're not watered down PR bills. Thanks for proving you've never once looked at what any of the bills passed actually contain. They are some of the largest legislation and most effective bills in US history. That's irrefutable. You might wish they did more, or were broader, but that doesn't change the fact that he's done more in most areas than any president has.

He's also revoked countless drilling permits, protecting massive swaths of land, and gotten a bill passed that literally makes all government projects take climate change effects into account. Many of these bills directly financially help all Americans. He's got even more gun control laws coming. You are letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. You don't like that Biden's accomplished more than any president because you want him to do what's literally impossible. So you'd rather have the country fall into fascism and be utterly destroyed than acknowledge the amazing accomplishments he's had. It's like jumping out of a plane and refusing to use the parachute because it's only 99.9% sure to make sure you survive. Honestly, it's an idiotic way of thinking. You're NEVER going to get absolutely everything. So take massive leaps forward, and push for more, instead of choosing to get absolutely nothing (in fact you'd be losing a lot more if Republicans get in power again).
