@movementmathebula828 It is difficult to stick with the gold standard as it limits government spending and insurance rates for shipping will still go up in times of war or military actions. Again, if Russia didn't attack Ukraine none of this would be a problem.

@narharjoshi7150 Russia has attacked it's neighbors more than NATO has attacked Russia (0 times). Going by history, Ukraine has far more to fear from Russia than Russia has to fear from Ukraine. Many people who comment on poor poor suffering Russia appear to have never looked at the history.

@narharjoshi7150 Essentially what you are arguing is Russia is such a good neighbor despite the fact they marched their army into several neighboring countries (including during their Soviet Union days). Never mentioned is they caused the Berlin Airlift in 1948. Iraq doesn't change what Russia did in Europe. And that doesn't include they got in bed with Adolf Hitler when it so suited them.
