  3. I was devastated by the footage of the 2006 Israeli-Lebanon War. It was my first semester in college, and at that time the rocket attacks did very little damage. MAYBE one Israeli was killed, but at best, a building received minor damage. Even then the response was disproportionate. Hypothetically, if there were three rocket attacks, and civilians injured, there would be numerous Palestinian deaths, several homes would be demolished, and the buffer zone again widened. I'm expecting at least 10k deaths congruent with a 10:1 Palestinian to Israeli death toll. The rhetoric being used though is from the early 20th century colonialist playbook.  @mariyaatanasova1556
