  4.  @mickeywood3012  Arguing that everyone born after __ lacks knowledge is nonsense. Also was the idea that the Framers had some "gentle spirit" in mind.

  5.  @mickeywood3012  You wrote that people born after 1970 have no knowledge about their civil responsibilities. That is a quantifiably false blanket generalization. Nothing that I wrote could be construed as arguing that people don't need an education either. It seems to me that you haven't SEEN the inside of a school in decades unless you dropped your grandkids off. With all due respect, it doesn't look like we disagree on any of your other premises, except regarding what you argue is this gentle nation that the Framers supposedly intended. That is quite the mythological interpretation considering that before the ink was dry on the constitution they immediately began a policy of ethnic cleansing that pretty much lasted until the early 20th century. The type of capitalism that emerged after the 1790s destroyed the American nuclear family, and nurtured a caste system that contributed directly to your dark perception of contemporary society.
