  1. That Subie motor, I'd plan on using a Heli-Coil. The dril bit will be oversized. It's going to take a minute to drill out that hardened extractor. If it was me, I'd strip the block down, have a machine shop do it, because they can make the hole straight, then rebuild (or performance build, depending on the customer) the engine.
