I used to clean house for Bob Hope's nephew. that man was obscenely wealthy. he was a die-hard conservative and insisted that he should be given social security every month because it wasn't fair to give it to just poor people. I've never understood this line of thinking. I mean, yes everybody should get it but if you're that wealthy you don't need it. these people already steal from the government which is essentially stealing from us. I just found that so absurd that this would be a sticking point for him.

@edwarddawn2277 that's just it you clown. he didn't pay into it. that's the point. after you make so much money you're not obligated to pay into it. and people that work for themselves don't pay into it at all. so not only is all his wealth accumulated by either inheritance or from a government-subsidized business, he still asking for more money from hard-working Americans. 🙄

@daphnewilson7966 he owns a meatpacking conglomerate in addition to inheriting a whole shitload of money from his uncle. he's never paid into social security a day in his life.
