  1. Opponents of farm laws are still not convinced. Tendency is to believe that cartelisation would have ensured sane low procurement prices from farmers but increase in sale price to consumers. While agreeing that the government should be compelled to increase the procurement prices the conspiracy theorists believe that the farm laws were passed in such a hurry because the cartels had anticipated the Ukraine war.
