  1. Love ya Tulsi but I could not disagree more with the claim that it's sad. People aren't showing up to the polls. I don't think anyone has a right to ask me to choose between two pieces of garbage and then blame me if I don't. I will not cast my vote "against". I will only cast "for". I absolutely cannot vote for a party who has a platform I would not want to live under, just because they aren't as bad as the next guy. I think that sends the wrong message. I think everyone who is dissatisfied ship refrain from voting altogether. That would send a message.

  7. I will care about climate predictions when any of them, any at all actually come true. We've had decades of this song and dance, and I can't believe people still buy this garbage. I care deeply for the environment, which is why I want the money going towards actual things like cleaning up polluted rivers.

Nobody cares that it's a violation of the constitution. It's extraordinarily rare that somebody huge actually is held accountable for anything other than sexual misconduct.

  9. I’m not down with it. It’s just a propaganda poster. Unless it is directly threatening someone, leave it up. If it just says something like “free Palestine“ or whatever, you have no right to take it down. The right was furious when people took down the posters of missing Jewish people at the beginning of this, so doing it the other way around is hypocritical. Students are blocking a building? Send in the National Guard and drag them out by their hair, I don’t care. But just making your opinion heard is what free-speech is all about. Don’t be hypocrites. And I wouldn’t even put “from the river to the sea“ posters in that category because we’ve seen enough interviews of people at those rallies and they literally don’t know what that means. Most of the people of these protests honestly think it’s just some Kumbaya message about people not being oppressed. Don’t fall down the trap of “rules for thee but for me.”

  12. I’m in Canada and our immigration is absolutely out of control. It’s a vicious cycle. You bring in more people so there’s more money and more demand for goods and services so then you complain that there’s not enough people to fill the job so you bring in more people to fill the jobs, and that just makes it worse.

I was wondering why I really liked him sometimes and hated him other times, but that's the only subject. He has any intellectual honesty about. Whenever any of these guests try to get him to be specific, he gets petulant. PBD asked him specifically to name one thing Gavin Newsom did that made California better and Bill couldn't name a single one and got frustrated. I'm losing almost all of the respect I had for Bill as time goes on.

Never met a single straight edge homeless person who wasn't an angst ridden teen who could go get picked up by daddy's Jag at any time. I've often wondered what society would've been like if getting high wasn't a thing, like if human physiology didn't interact with the plant kingdom in a way that messes your brain up temporarily. If getting high wasn't a possibility because it was biologically impossible we'd still have down and out people but I wonder how many. My heart breaks when I encounter homeless who are clearly mentally ill.

They believe that everything that they believe is reality and everything that everybody else believes is misinformation. As this video shows, they truly don't think that there's anything wrong with the media spouting all the governments talking points. How can they not see how insane that sounds? It was nuts. An economics classroom should be teaching children about economics, and the different schools of thought on economics (like Austrian versus Keynesian etc). Yet every wall had leftist talking points like there was a poster on privilege and of course it showed white people at the top even though this school was overwhelmingly non-white. Way to alienate a minority population in your school. It had a poster about climate change that was factually incorrect. If you were going to have propaganda, at least have correct information on the wall.

  33. The comments are below is correct. If you took away the metropolitan Toronto area votes Trudeau got, he wouldn't have come within a country mile of getting elected. And even then, our voter turnout isn't the best so literally only one in five adults you see walking down the street actually voted for him. He keeps getting reelected even though he has lost the popular vote. Notice how in America they lose it that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote and lost the election, but you don't hear a peep about how the same thing happened in Canada and nobody on the right was crying foul about it. They just accepted that that's our rules and it is what it is. I live in Vancouver which is pretty far left, and Victoria, which is our provincial capital, is insanely far left. I mean ridiculously. No blue collar area comes anywhere close to voting for him. He gets annihilated everywhere outside the white collar major urban centres. I truly believe that after how he treated the trucker convoy he would've gotten destroyed in an election, but I fear that people will have forgotten about that by the time the next election rolls around. You can call an election whenever you want in Canada so two years into his four year mandate they called a snap election in the middle of a pandemic and won. I think every single person that voted for him isn't absolute scumbag. If you didn't research him, then you shouldn't have voted, and if you did research him and still voted, then I think you are a terrible person. I never ever ever thought I'd say that about somebody just based on their vote, but this guy is literally an insane authoritarian. He suspended our charter of rights and freedoms to combat a peaceful protest that he literally refused to engage in any capacity. The government never once met with anyone. How does that happen in a democracy? Imagine an American president suspending the bill of rights because of unbelievably peaceful protesters? The truckers very deliberately went out of their way to not leave garbage, to clean the streets of ice, and to be good to the neighbourhood other than honking their horns. They want to protest vaccine mandates and the Prime Minister called them racist and misogynist. Even if that was 100% true, but still has nothing to do with their message. The fact Canadians went along with it discussed me and I do not care anymore if this country breaks up. I never thought I would say something like that. I've always been a proud Canadian. Not anymore.

In America the press secretary literally said in a press conference you can find on YouTube that the American government directly "suggests" to the big tech companies what they should censor. The government is not allowed to do it directly so they tell these giant corporations. In the Netherlands as well as Canada and Australia etc., there also is state run media. England as well. Every one of those is very much left leaning so you can't tell me that this guy really truly is advocating for an actual Free Press, because he is saying this to a room full of people who have the same agenda. He gets by on a technicality as you say, but you can carefully word almost anything if you are shrewd enough to get yourself to the technical get of jail free card. How I back my statement up is the fact that every time a news outlet says something that goes against the government's narrative, they cry "misinformation" and often call for the media to stop doing it..

  43. The CBC did a documentary on the protests, and literally while they were showing footage of bouncy castles and happy people they were talking about how scary and violent they were. I never thought in my lifetime that the media would turn into what we heard about from the old Soviet union. Literal constant lies, despite what is right in front of our faces.   48. National Geographic had a great article on women in Iran and it did a great job of outlining how it's not so simple. The women there said they want progress, but to do it themselves and slowly. They want to nudge things in the right direction instead of having the west come in and hammer in a "solution" from an outside source. It's a very nuanced thing.
