What bothered me about Don lemon was that he used the word back. Paid back. There's not a person alive that was a slave so you can't use the word back. Something has to be taken from you in order to be paid back. And I love how she talks about the soldiers that died fighting to end slavery. Shouldn't those families be paid? Those people made the ultimate sacrifice, on behalf of other people. They were on the side that benefitted and they still went to war and died over it. That's the very definition of hero yet they still are vilified and so are their ancestors because of their skin color. Racist people like Don lemon are so gross, as well as everyone else who believes that racist narrative. How they can get away with overt racism like that is unbelievable.
