That's very interesting. I wish I was American. I'd love to enrol just to witness the insanity first hand. It's fascinating to me because I work in construction and this SJW stuff is so far removed from my daily life.

Melissa - That's so sad because from what I gather, Evergreen has the potential to be awesome. Don't send her to Canada either because if you believe what Jordan Peterson has to say, it's infected here too (though I'm a west coaster so I don't know if it applies more to the east of if it's all over and again, I'm in construction so if you come at a jobsite talking about equality of outcome or installing a 3rd porta potty for transgendered people you'll get laughed off site. Jobsites aren't the most liberal of places, but if you were a flaming pansexual with blue hair and lipstick but you busted your ass on site and got shit done, you'd be accepted and respected in very short order).

Stephen, tread carefully when comparing the views of the populace at large with a those of an internet comment section, haha. I agree though that very few people admit they're wrong. It's so bananas that when I concede a point to the "other side" in an argument, they often stammer and aren't quite sure how to handle it. People seem to get even more upset with me if I don't take a strong stance either for or against them. It's the strangest thing. Having my mind changed by a rational argument is actually one of my favourite things in the world. I think it's fun because I know my opinion is consistent with the most up to date information I have and not based in ideology. I actually got yelled at by a SJW because I asked her if she'd read the entire platform of all of the federal parties (here in Canada) before voting. Then I asked if she'd at least read the platform of the party she voted for. She shouted me down and said nobody has time for that. I said it takes one afternoon every 4 years, or an hour a day for half a week every 4 years. Then she got angry some more and changed the topic.

So people are only worthy of praise if they were born and bred their beliefs and believe them blindly?
