It's not naive to think Russia will lose the war. It's naive to assume Russian will lose the war.

When Rose McGowan is actively endorsing a Republican governor, you know things have gone terribly sideways because she did not seem like a likely candidate to get red pilled. (Update: I see she said she used to listen to Larry Elder on the radio and in fact would call into the show under a fake name so I guess she's liked him for a while now)

You call smashing windows of personal campers to evict people and compelling private companies to remove truckers after freezing their bank accounts after suspending the Charter of Rights and Fre......oh yeah. Fair enough. The worst is there are still so many Canadians who actually approve of this clown. It's beyond belief. He literally suspended our basic doctrine of rights over peaceful protester who he refused to engage. Anyone who supports that is someone I have no urge to ever speak to again.

The Simpsons are yellow. You need a yellow person to voice them, wouldn't you?

The Cambridge union has to boycott the Cambridge union because they laughed and enjoyed the performance.

Sometimes. Arielle has videos that clearly explain the difference. Some people truly do have gender dysphoria (where your body parts absolutely do not match how you feel inside starting at a young age). The problem is that many people grow up abused, or have other mental conditions and find comfort in the things being trans can bring them. They don't literally feel like a woman trapped in a man's body. For them it's more a means to an end and they hope being trans will cure their pain. It won't because they are just confused.
45
Comply and they'll either move the goalposts are add another condition.
43
Exactly. I'm vaccinated and I came out to support them as well. The mainstream coverage of them here has been dreadful.
32
She wasn't kidnapped, she was held hostage. That's all I have to say about it because as for the rest of it...there are no words.
30
Like Thomas Sowell says, equality feels like oppression when you are used to special treatment.

The Gillette ad was way worse in my opinion. Bud Light just shoved something down your throat you didn’t want there, but gillette actually said that the core audience were bad people needed to be better. I think that’s 10 times as egregious.
25
I've love this in Canada too. Thankfully we have Jordan Peterson.

Palestine isn't a country, so how could it be a member of a body made up of countries? Their own website says you have to be a country in the traditional sense. You can't be a nation as in like the Navajo nation, where you could be dispersed all over the place. You have to be a traditional country, and Palestine is not.
19
That's the craziest shit I've ever heard. Several places in the world are like that were you can't even go outside, especially now that we know that you are safe if you keep even a tiny modicum of distance outdoors. Walking your dog will not spread covid through a society. That's not even up for debate anymore yet here we are.

Try making a wind turbine without oil. Try making a solar panel without oil. Try getting the power from A to B without oil.

Tulsi Gabbard has. They treated her exactly like you expect they would but she took it with grace.

Canada really needs something like this.

A friend posted a thing about antifa showing up at a white nationalist rally. I joked that the only way to tell the difference between the two sides of masked scumbags was that antifa would be the ones punching first. I got crucified for that. Over and over I was told that I was a boot licking naziAnd I was told that it was OK for violence to be used on me. I said that multiple times in that thread that I thought both sides were scum bags so how could I be a Nazi. Didn't matter. I was the biggest piece of shit to ever walk the planet earth and pretty much nothing was off limits as to the bad things that should happen to me. The left has some really important ideas but unfortunately the fringe ones are taking main stream and the left now is absolutely for certain the side that has the most hatred in their hearts. I'm politically homeless and probably always will be. The most pathetic part of the left though, is that they act like times have never been worse, yet in almost in every single way they have won the last three or four decades. Gay people are much more accepted, women's rights have come along way, it's not weird to see minorities in positions of power, trans people are much more accepted, and people actually care somewhat about the environment now. Right wing party platforms are way further left than they were decades ago. Capitalism has lifted billions out of extreme poverty at a pace that exceeded the United Nations wildest expectations. They WON! Yet somehow they act like things have never been worse in the history of ever.

I have friends who call it that. I live in Vancouver and there are really big rallies weekly. I urge my friends to come see for themselves what these rallies are all about. It's a party atmosphere. Everyone is smiling and having a good time. The largest demographic, I kid you not, is 45-55 yr old women who look like the types of people you'd never guess would be at a protest. This isn't some ANTIFA kids just wanting to vent their anger in any direction they can. These are thoughtful people.
11
The coverage here in Canada has been abysmal. I've been to the protests and they are damn near a party-like atmosphere. Very upbeat and positive yet the MSM talks about how they are angry fascists and how the PM had to literally go into hiding. What?!

Dominic Imagine 6 months ago being told that in 6 months, in a Western country, you would be told you were not allowed to leave your house and you could get arrested for going to a skateboard park.
11
Absolutely. Unfortunately America is up it's own ass right now and stopped thinking about where Covid came from. The CCP trying to stop a full inquiry is so on brand. The world needs to care more about this and hold them accountable. If everyone stood up, they would be totally fucked.
11
Last year in Ontario I read a news story where a couple was ticketed because they were outside their house in a van. In a van. They asked the cop how they could be a threat if they were chilling in a parking lot with their windows up and he said "What if you had an accident?". This is where we are at as a sheepish society. I hate using the term sheep because it sounds all tin foil hatty but FFS this is what it's coming to.

I'm no fan of Malcolm X but he did have some really great insights.

I'm blown away that China managed to get people to stop calling it Wuhan virus and even though Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Ebola, Spanish flu etc show that it's normal to name a virus after it's place of origin. They successfully got the world to buy in to the racism narrative.
9
Rita was certainly the right person for the job.
9
Exactly. Do they never actually convict her? The number of things that can get you banned from America if you’re Canadian is really high. I can’t imagine going around and getting arrested all over the place and still being able to cross borders. What’s funny is you know that people would call it a form of targeted fascism if she was actually convicted of her crimes she commits on video, and prosecuted, according to the laws on the books. I guarantee people would say it’s unfair.
9
I'll give him more of a pass when he admits Snowden is a hero and a patriot who did what he did at great personal sacrifice, for the greater good. That's the literal definition of hero.
9
I was cringing, assuming she was coming here. So many of them claimed they would the last time Trump won. Now she's escaping a totalitarian dictator... By moving to a country that arrests people for innocuous social media comments
9
It's unreal how often the term "fake news" is meant to denote a conspiracy theorist despite example after example of incredibly easy to fact check things that prove tons of stories are false. Doesn't matter. It's still a term used for slander. My fav example is the "fine people on both sides" or "Trump won't condemn white supremacists" when you can go on YouTube and see video after video of him doing just that, or his press secretary giving that one reporter specific example after example and the press still ran with "Trump won't condemn white supremacists". It's literally beyond belief. I'm politically homeless and am happy that Trump is not the POTUS but FFS the media, and most of the left in general, just gross me out, as do all the sheep who just believe everything they hear regardless of whether it's true or not. Now my FB feed is full of right wing conspiracy theories and it kills me. Nobody fact checks anymore. I'm so sick of it.
8
To be fair, she was much less "interupty" than most progressives. Relative to the norm she behaved very well.
8
I'm Canadian and they do better stories on our awful PM than what I see from the media outlets here. I'd prefer if Sky was a bit more politically homeless, but I'll take what I can get. I really like Sky News Australia.
8
When people leave the right, right wingers roll their eyes and say "you are a dumbass". When people leave the left they get shunned and threatened and people try to cancel their whole lives. The left side of the political spectrum is way more hate filled than the right and it's not even close.
7
The Canadian PM called a snap election in the middle the pandemic, 2 years early, and won for the 3rd time. We voted for him AGAIN. I absolutely couldn't fucking believe it. I had lost all of my Canadian pride, but this convoy has brought lots of it back. I've been to the protests and they are wonderful.
7
Now that mother nature has cruely seen to it that the Black Panther position is open, I say it should be a ginger.
7
The internet is incredible. There are hours and hours and hours of him online available for free. From his teaching days, from Joe Rogan, from his tours, from all over.
7
Trump had his faults but he had a set of big brass ones when it came to foreign leaders. He didn't give a fuck and it was wonderful. Sometimes you want a nutter to be on your side when dealing with other nutters because they can play the game. Biden and Trudeau are going to bend over a drop trou.
7
No way, those agencies need more smart people. Hopefully he has a conscience and can be the next Edward Snowden.

This is one of the few videos from sky news I down voted. This wasn't journalism at all. It didn't spend one second talking about the other side. They made it seem like some bad guys randomly attacked a daycare centre for absolutely no reason. IDGAF what side of the conflict you support, you have to admit both sides have done awful stuff. It's like how the Ukraine suddenly because this innocent little lamb after the invasion, as if the NYT didn't run an article 6 months before totally roasting the country and its corruption. I want all sides of an issue discussed if I'm going to take it even remotely seriously. The middle east has been a gong show for thousands of years. This Hamas action doesn't really matter in the grand scheme. It's a grain of sand on a beach that doesn't end. I just watched a video by The Onion about the Israel Palestine conflict and it made the most sense of any video I've seen thus far.

@Mewtwosmrmime On his old show he was clever and made salient points and he was awesome. He's an absolute gross SJW now. Bill Burr was on and Colbert was so awkward and acted like Bill was beyond the pale and Bill called him and his audience out on it. Even the commenters on Colbert's own YouTube channel were agreeing with Bill. Colbert is so gross now and that's a shame because he used to be brilliant. I heard Jon Stewart on Joe Rogan earlier this year and he was still Jon Stewart. I wish Colbert had the same integrity.
6
Most of our journalists are. After Trudeau uses ideologically based language all day every day for years, this guy is the stones to talk about Pierre that way?
5
I don't know much about the conflict other than I haven't really formed an opinion because you aren't allowed to question it, which raises a big red flag for me when it comes to Ukraine supports, especially since it was lambasted as extremely corrupt just before the war. Now we send our money there? FFS, as if politicians STOP being corrupt during times of war. Both sides appear to be dodgy in this one.
4
Better yet, an actual objective news organization that doesn't give a rats ass what side of anything anyone is on.
4
100%. I don't blame the migrants at all. That said, I'd like to stop each and every one of them but I don't blame them. America literally helps them through the journey to get here. Brett Weinstein went down there and saw first hand the actual effort given to helping these people get to America. If I was them I'd do the same thing, and if America was damn near any other country it would defend its borders like they would.
4
@greggsmith8936 Nah, it's more reasonable than Fox. I love Sky News Australia and really with we had an equivalent in Canada. Been following these guys for quite some time now.
4
I feel history will be very kind to him unless he does something stupid. So far history will be kind because he hasn't provided anything for it not to be. The people who hate him the most seem to never have any actual quotes to hang him with. It's interesting.
4
That's the problem. It was was a Trump's or a Biden's, then it should have a movie made about it. I'm all for exposing corruption, but unlike MSM I want it exposed on all sides.
4
I dunno man. I know a guy who went to a residential school and it fucked him up for life. If the mass grave thing is a mistake then those responsible should 100% own up, same as those losing their minds about it and ripping down statues etc, but this video goes dangerously close to whitewashing the schools as if they were no big deal. I'm Canadian and I hate Trudeau with the fire of 1000 suns and I hate all things woke with a passion, and I roll my eyes at how every single public event now (or even schooling) starts with "acknowledging the indigenous lands we occupy" and all of that, but this video is missing the bigger picture with the schools. I don't know a single person who thinks the schools were a good thing in the very least, and I don't hang around any SJW's or Woke people at all. I'm serious when I say I've never met anyone in my life who doesn't think they weren't awful on the whole. I'm sure they weren't bad for every single student who ever went, but go ask people who've been to them, or their kids. They were not a good thing.
4
The frustrating part for me is I'm 100% on board with making big sacrifices to save the environment. Deforestation is brutal and people just don't understand that literally 2/3 of wildlife we had when David Attenborough was born is now gone. 2/3! That's beyond belief. I care deeply about it but FFS the left simply won't have an honest conversation about it and it's so gross. I'm sad Michael Moore didn't get red pilled from this experience of the left eating him. If the left and right would have honest conversations about any of this we'd realize we need a functioning planet and the path we are on is completely unsustainable with all the overfishing and habitat loss which will hurt us all in the near future but the right says "Fuck those hippies, they just lie and exaggerate" and the left says "we are the only moral ones and everything we think is just and everything you think is evil". Both sides are NOT helping.
