  1. That's not a blanket argument. You do not believe it's a blanket argument so stop being obtuse. It's not meant to be taken literally. If you didn't have SOME restrictions, then you'd literally have anarchy. You agree that some laws need to be on the books. Now it's just a matter of degrees.

  2. Why does this have more downvotes than upvotes? I saw a reasonably respectful debate. That's wonderful. If everybody agreed it would just be an echo chamber. Go to CNN and see 6 people all interrupting each other and insulting each other, THEN come back here and appreciate what you've seen.
