I'm deeply concerned with the health of our oceans and it drives me nuts that overfishing isn't given 1% of the coverage that climate change gets. It's almost impossible to know who to trust now. Sadly, I give more credence to people who've been thrown out of academia than I do those inside it because they are right more often than not. Gone are the days when people got tossed because they were loonies. Now they get tossed for being heterodox. What does that say when the castoffs are the most trustworthy? That's truly awful and is hurting our oceans. Micro plastics and overfishing are immediate, right now threats and get almost ignored, and so do statistics in context. I want the problem solved, not falsified and argued over.
