  1. Past President Jimmy Carter, his wife and crew, came to Welland, Ontario, Canada, and built a free house for a homeless family many years ago. As a Washington outsider who didn't promote new foreign attacks, he was betrayed by the Pentagon and didn't win re-election. He is the only American president I can respect.
