It's Sunday and they want to publish something official tomorrow and you asked what that will be about? What's the rush? Not having an answer to that question probably doesn't mean more than "You'll see it tomorrow, like everyone else." Your concern about the "bad ending" didn't seem to take into account about the consequences of the communication. Let's say the team members who abused the CoC get officially removed. That means everything has to be prepared for a smooth transition from what just happened to the state of a CoC-abiding team. If the level of access and influence of the people who misbehaved goes deep enough, you can see why things have to be done carefully before any communication goes out. Because with the kind of comments those people put out, you can bet your pixels that they would make a big mess in the wake of their enforced departure. That's why I think that we can expect both kinds of communication - good and bad.
