  2.  @MelodusDethicus  you're right. The 2nd amendment does not specify arms. Yet we cant own functioning tanks or rpg's. So there is a line drawn on "arms". The debate really is where that line should be drawn seeing as there is a line in the first place.

  3.  @MelodusDethicus  precedent has been set more than once to limit the 2nd amendment is proof it is not absolute. If limiting it again will help stop the 10,000 murders a year with guns I am all for it

  7.  @MelodusDethicus  seeing as there are the Federalist papers that they know well that allows them to understand the meaning behind the amendments I would say they have a far better understanding of the right than you do. Unless you read them you do not have the entire story.
