What happened to Gore?

The world keeps spinning and things keep happening. This is what we elected them for
2
They mostly are. There is a climate summit later this year and all of the pre meetings are being done online
2
@michaelphillpott4884 no they're not. Just because you are not smart enough to understand them doesn't make them a scam
2
Maybe it was because sea levels will be rising
2
@adinp9384 I agree. The thorium reactor designs can use the waste from our old reactors as fuel. Two bids with one stone
2
Paul Revere how did that lost go at the end of his term. Doesn't matter if what you said was true, his inept handling of covid made him into a one term loser
1
@fuzzypeaches7552 heads of state probably would travel commercial fit wasn't for people wanting them dead
1
@ronaalavel6701 trump is a pile of dogsh!t because his tax bill was designed to hurt the middle class in blue states.
1
@BeeLineEast maybe to you but he is still out there working to better the climate.
1
@TheBallsKicker to be fair massive chunks have broken off and LiDAR has shown the ice pack is far less thick than it was 50 years ago.
1
@mitchelldarnell5334 the sun has nothing to do with climate change. Our orbit has been stable for a few billion years now
1
@darthmalagus really? Tell that to all the signatories of the Paris accord
1
@allenchamberlain1963 no it doesn't. The sun will affect the weather but not the climate. Yes the moon affects the tides
1
@conanzzzzzzz that's weather not climate
1
@UserPending sure pal. Sure
1
@MadMax projection lol. If he understood those issues he wouldn't have said that.
1
@squirrels38 you are nuts. Get help
1
@mattl2843 I agree it is a contributing factor but emissions are the biggest driver of climate change
1
@stevenr6797 the rate we were growing our emissions has slowed but we pump more out and in bigger quantities every year
1
@amarreder6241 personally I think green infrastructure and nuclear is the way to go long term
1
@amarreder6241 well, nuclear for starters. It would be a real improvement to what we are doing already. Renewables, updated power grid and non battery power storage are other examples.
1
@amarreder6241 there are the massive flywheels but I like the idea on loading rail cars and towing them up a hill using electric winches during non peak hours. During peak hours they are lowered down the hill and that spins a turbine to create power
1
@adinp9384 I wholeheartedly agree. There is also massive room for growth for renewables too
