I would say the UK is learning that the free market isn't the best tool to ration limited supplies need for survival. Or to put it another way the working class doesn't enjoy the hardships the capitalist class is forcing them through to protect their capital assets.

You fail to understand that government rationing of limited resources was how the USA won the second world war not by letting the barrons of industry chase the highest profits.

@danialhillmann5374 the free market defines the best energy source as the source that has the greatest profit margin when sold to those who have the most wealth to afford it. We are infact seeing that today with the natrual gas industry as the supply is sold at the highest profit margins to those who can afford it.

@danialhillmann5374 wrong government is the one tool with the authority to end monopolies. You failed to learn from history. It is only the "free market capitalist" calling for deregulation that has ended the ability of government to enforce antitrust laws that break up monopolies.
