My three questions as a Japanese person. ❶ Is it wrong to describe a foreigner who is fluent in Japanese as a native speaker? ➋ To begin with, is it necessary to learn Japanese that is only spoken in Japan? ➌ Since most foreigners come to Japan to work as English teachers, shouldn't they speak only English?

There are foreigners who cannot speak Japanese even though they have lived in Japan for more than 20 years, and there are foreigners who return to their home countries as soon as their contract is over. Considering these facts, it seems that Japan is not necessarily an attractive country for them and Japanese is certainly not an easy language for them to learn.
