  1. wow. a flying buttress that survived the war. i'm touched. my greatgrandparents were Kashubian refugees from Lemberg now called Lvov. in short, westernmost Slavs, living under Prussians near Gdansk, then called Danzig, who fled in WW1 to Austro-Hungarian administered Poland, which in succession was then conquered by Bolshevik Russians, then re-conquered by resurgent Poles, then again by Russians in the name of an imaginary "Ukraine:" 6 different passports in 5 years. confused yet? it took me 50 years to recognize they really lived in Lvov because Kashubians pronounce it "wow." where's Wow?
