  3. Because that is their value add. People don't seem to remember Patni computers and Infy were not exactly offering great salaries for solving Y2K era problems. The salary boom came with a decade of upskilling associated with horizontal integration. People don't want to invest time in the trade/business and jump ship. The India growth story has another decade of backward integration left. This pain is unavoidable.
