  1. The same thing was said about most of South India. Today North Indians follow Southern movie industry and see Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai as aspirational. South Indians are found in administration across North India and are generally preferred over the local North Indians. The same dynamic will happen with NE.

  3. What you raised is a very important point. There is a lack of visual memory even in mainstream Indian media. Use of representational images and video gives space for fake news, misinterpretation and exaggerations on all sides.

  5. It's ignored because it is economically dependent. Any region which suffers from lack of development has no representation. One commenter to this video made a very important point, lack of visuals. Even a poor state that has "national representation" such as Bihar has a shocking lack of visual memory in the Indian psyche. No one can recall a distinctive monument of modern Bihar like one can with under represented Kerala, Karnataka or Andhra.
