@crudetorefined4059 I also want to badly see a different party with a working model in place. Kejri is just following the old socialist model combining activism and bad economics. Btw I was having a conversation with my younger brother(who's pursuing his CA incidentally) on Kejris economics around water. Sheila Dixit asks the private sector to invest in water distribution and they are supposed to recover them by charging customers. Kejri comes in and shows the unit price of water(disregarding the infrastructure and maintaince cost) and calls it corruption. Wins the election and forces the companies to adhere to unit price of water. Media and public go gung ho. Sad bit is Delhi will pay the price of this act 20-50 years in future where our famous ad lib of "politicians did not plan for the future" will be repeated. Kejri has single handedly ensured no private company wants to engage in capacity building.

@HN-gj2iq how is that relevant?

@HN-gj2iq I think your comment lacks context. Any non oil economy needs partnership between industry and government. Example US directs the telecom industry to operate in unprofitable areas and they let them have the monopoly to recover the infrastructure cost. The likes of Amazon and Tesla pay zero federal tax to ensure competitive advantage in tech. Kejriwal thinks of this as corruption which is rooted in the pre liberalization mentality. He made sure the water companies charge only for unit cost and ignore the infrastructure cost with water. No one will be willing to invest into infrastructure if AAP's economic thinking is around. All the things you listed were in the domain of enforcement, which has nothing to do with capacity building which India badly needs.
