Vanguard Political Party the document in which the Sikh empiresigned away it's empire and crown jewels was also legal at its time and even now, as the UK stated. Does not make it right. A lot of people including ones who do not support BJP want this gone. Make peace with it.

@jyotiradityapanda8598 that has happened literally dozens of times when president's rule was imposed by every party. A good chunk of non BJP folks who want this piece of colonial history gone are being classified as Bhakts. Good luck winning them back.

@AadilKhan-vv8zv and please tell me that imposition of presidents rule never led to local resentment? If you parse through my statement, you will find that it was never my intent to compare temporary presidents rule to permanent abrogation, but high handedness of central commands and central governments and the local reaction to it.

@AadilKhan-vv8zv Muslims still live in Gujarat in lakhs even after 2002, pandits do not. Sikhs do not. They live in Jammu not in Kashmir. You have not heard of any temples being destroyed before 1990? Can you name one North and West Indian temple with structure as old as Kanchipuram or any south Indian temples? Oh and please enlighten us why minority communities refuse to join Kashmiri independence movements? Its almost like they fear genocide.

@AadilKhan-vv8zv And no other state in independent India so effectively cleansed out it's minorities from dialogue, residence and democracy. Good job, keep pushing the overton window to the right.
