  1. And what's wrong with that? Just to be clear, Faiz the atheist meant this song for Pakistan hence the acerbic(not Arabic, acerbic) reference to god for a theocratic state. Neither is India a theocratic state nor does this have to do with changing the status. Protest songs have changed lyrics plenty of times. They literally set themselves up for failure here.
