@greyfox78569 I'm not versed on that, but I think the problem with NATO, and most importantly the US, is that they have SO MUCH STUFF and are like "on another level" that their army tactically are extremely effective, however they can't see how that applies to armies that are less equiped. Like "lol why aren't the Russians doing all the tactics we did in Iraq"... well the Russians simply can't. Hell its funny but even lets say, Germany, can't have their armed forces that is on the level of the US if they don't double the spending on top of actually making their army function. So instead they down size it and try making it work on low scale.

@Kansika I don't think this limited warfare is something Russia is doing because they want, rather its a way to not mobilize and get bogged down in a war, because yes, while Russia can put much more men into the fight, if their tactics and worse, strategy is bad, they just gonna lose more men, meanwhile they are losing much more of their economy this way. That said, I agree with you, the US just goes "lol we have everything" and can't pull the punches, its military operations survive entirely on being big and fast backed by massive economy, or tiny and prolonged over years, basically, either desert storm style campaing or the constant counter insurgency after Sadam was killed. They basically can't pull a WW2 again, they could not since Vietnam.

@lordbendtner7021 you are wrong there, US went to Iraq "to experiment with democracy", if it was the Oil, they would not have oil prices so high now, they also tried to do that in Afghanistan, either case the reactionary forces (as bad as they are in Iraqi) took power of the nation... btw by Democracy I don't mean "rule of the people" only I mean everything bad about US.

@greyfox78569 oh yeah, I was just talking about the Tactical part of it. Strategically US didn't won a single war, well they won Kuwait war, but that was because the war goal was simply stopping Kuwai from being invaded, can't say the same for 2003 Iraq invasion.

@mr.tulandra4632 they also can't do half the stuff the US can because their Airforce is not made to do that, for example.
