  1. In all fairness, Abbas didn't. His group and Hamas fought a civil war for control there and Hamas won. I'm no fan of Abbas... but that's why he has no control of Gaza.

  3. They also make the weapons... it's difficult to understand when they say "Israel occupies" the Gaza... makes it sound as if Israel is inside Gaza controlling them. But that isn't true... Israel left the Gaza back in 2005 and Hamas runs Gaza. Israel just controls what enters the country the best it can.

  8. Arab nations don't want the Palestinians. In the past, Arab nations have taken in large numbers of Palestinians and in return, those Palestinians tried to overthrow the government of those nations!

  9. You do understand that Abbas controls the West bank and not the Gaza. These are two separate territories and there are no borders between the two. As much as I dislike Abbas almost as much as Hamas... I don't see how you can fault him in this terrorist act.

  10.  @qazihussain497  You do realize that he and Hamas are also enemies, right? It's not as if Hamas was going to share phone calls with this man. As I said, I don't like him and its bizarre for me to defend him... but in this case I fail to see how anyone can blame him. Ultimately if Israel has its way... he will take leadership of Gaza.
