You mean during the cold war when Russia was installing NUCLEAR WEAPONS 90 miles off the coast of the US? How is that comparable to Russia wanting to be annexing more territory from the Ukraine?

@xelunac8737 Can you name some of these US military bases in other countries in which the HOST GOVERNMENT of that nation doesn't want those bases? You said many, so can you give a few examples of this lie your telling?

Reminds me when Putin was giving a talk about his new hypersonic missile capable of defeating US air defense then shows an animated video of Russia nuking Florida. But hey, Russia doesn't threaten anyone, right?

@thedoctorairsoft6813 When? Past and Present!!! Russia has been supplying troops and weapons in Donbass, Ukraine or did you not know that? There are good reasons why Russia's neighbors are begging for NATO troops and bases. Putin needs this conflict to hang over Ukraine because he can’t let it become a stable functioning state, which would set a dangerous precedent for Russia. If Ukraine can become pro-Western and democratic then the people of Russia and Belarus might want to go down the same path, which is a threat to Putin’s rule!

@Khoditsky The US hasn't broken any international laws or went against the UN membership agreement in invading territories for expansion and resource GAINS... that is what China and Russia are doing today! The Ukraine is NOT threatening Russia, the Ukraine is no threat to Russia but yet Russia is going to invade for EXPANSION!!! The Ukraine is a recognized sovereign nation, and their territorial integrity is being violated by a stronger nation. That is not HYPOCRISY to speak out against this evil like we have seen in the past ...1938 with the Austria ... and don't talk about propaganda when you're simply spewing it like crazy!

BTW... in 2014 in an interview with Kommersate newspaper Gorbachev was quoted as saying the subject of NATO enlargement never came up in 1989 or 1990... . “The topic of ‘NATO expansion’ was never discussed; it was not raised in those years. I am saying this with a full sense of responsibility. Not a single Eastern European country brought up the issue, not even after the Warsaw Pact had ceased to exist in 1991,” ... maybe that's why you can't tell us the name of the agreement, the date of the agreement or who signed the agreement... because if NEVER existed!
