Fox News is openly lying to their viewers. It came out in court, in 2017, Nebraska Ranchers versus Keystone Pipeline, that the jobs Fox is referring to here are ALL temporary construction jobs. The Keystone Pipeline is owned by TransCanada, and would be maintained by already existing employees of TransCanada. Also, none of the oil from the Keystone Pipeline would be sold in the United States. The TransCanada service contracts are exclusively with Europe and Asia.

@rajeevdsamuel TransCanada would only hire temporary construction workers. And that's it. There's already existing sections of the Keystone Pipeline from Alberta to Oklahoma. The extension, the XL, is 1700 miles. And it does not require a large workforce beyond what they already have to maintain it. This was all unveiled in the Nebraska Ranchers versus Keystone Pipeline case in 2017. Secondly the only way the United States can reallocate the oil from the Keystone Pipeline to be used in a United States is through a declaration of war by Congress and the Canadian emergencies act. Meaning if we were at War, they could use it. Beyond that, TransCanada's contracts are exclusively with Europe and Asia. You're not very good at this.

@rajeevdsamuel This is like trying to debate with a 5-year-old. You don't know what you don't know. There's already 3,000 miles of the Keystone Pipeline from Alberta to Oklahoma. They already have the infrastructure to maintain 1700 more miles. And under corporate personhood, look that up, the US federal government cannot break a corporations contracts. Under our law the only way to break TransCanada's contracts with Europe and Asia is under a declaration of war. That gives the federal government control over production within the United States.

@rajeevdsamuel Apparently you can't read either. In 1776, in the declaration of Independence, it reads... "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator to have certain unalienable rights". The last time I checked, they had slaves. So, they lied.

@rajeevdsamuel So in your little world Nebraska Ranchers didn't take TransCanada XL Pipeline to court in November 2011? That's not a fact? Even though it's a public record and anyone can look it up and find it? That is known as being a willfully ignorant imbecile.
