  1. An American company deciding to stop production to drive up the price? They should be brought up on charges of treason. If they can simply turn up or off production at will that is an act of treason. Oil has always been a matter of National security.

They are talking about turning off production to increase demand. That is treasonous. They are discussing placing profit over national security.

  3. Master Chief 00117 Can you not understand they are talking about the World Oil Market? American oil producers should always put Americans strategic oil reserves first. This is why the United States isn't part of any oil syndicate, like a OPEC, for that very reason. Any U.S. oil producer suspending oil production to drive up demand for profit is treasonous.
