  1. The Germans are not on board, the German government just applied a 25% tariff to American goods. German automakers do not make the laws in Germany nor do they make the laws in the European Union. So their suggestion of a 0% tariff going both ways is worth absolutely nothing.

  2. Unless Germany breaks away from the EU the German automakers have ZERO influence over setting policy over the tariffs applied on the United States. The EU is applying a 25% tariff on American goods.

  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but Germany is in the E.U... and they can't make binding trade treaties outside of that governing body? So, the German Auto Makers have ZERO say on Tariffs.
